HK – the land of public holidays

Hello,

Here I am on another fine public holiday day in HK – in total there are 17 public holidays in HK which is a far cry more than what we received in Sydney! Recently, HK had its ‘National Day’ and we were lucky enough to see the fireworks from our balcony! Got a chance to test out my new tripod, pretty pleased with the purchase as it was super sturdy. I am always impressed by the level of service out at Sim City as the shop assistants helped us test the tripods with cameras on and off and took the time to explain the features etc. So anyways, here’s probably my favourite firework photo – im pretty sure S took this one and not me!

Off to eat some food and take a few more photos – hope the weather will hold up! Have a lovely Chung Yeung Festival today! Just looked it up – double ninth festival
